Rasburnat 1.5mg Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation

Rasburnat 1.5mg Injection is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Driving

It is not known whether Rasburnat 1.5mg Injection alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Kidney

Rasburnat 1.5mg Injection is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Rasburnat 1.5mg Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Rasburnat 1.5mg Injection is used in the treatment and prevention of high blood levels of uric acid.

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.

How Rasburnat Injection works
Rasburnat 1.5mg Injection works by removing excess uric acid from the body, which is produced when cancer cells are destroyed during chemotherapy.

Side Effects:

Common Nausea, Headache, Vomiting, Rash, Urticaria, Fever, Diarrhoea.

Expert advice for Rasburnat Injection

Seek immediate medical attention if you develop severe allergic reaction: swelling of the face, lips, tongue or other part of your body; shortness of breath, wheezing or breathing problems; rash, itching or hives.
Discontinue taking rasburicase if you develop hemolysis (abnormal break down of blood) or methemoglobinemia (abnormal blood pigment levels).
You may be monitored for uric acid level to decide the duration of treatment.
Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
